Game 2 Recap

April 21, 2018

The Brooklyn Bandits jumped to an early lead versus the Brooklyn Tigers Pitcher Josedavid Rodriguez, scoring 10 runs in the 1st inning. The Tigers scored 1 run in the 2nd inning with a wild pitch/stolen base by David Ramirez. In the 3rd inning it started off with a walk by Gabriel Marte. Mathew Greenwood grounded out to 1st advancing the runner, and then Benjamin Ruiz started it off hot with a base hit single advancing Gabriel to 3rd base. Josedavid came up and drew a walk loading the bases for the Tigers with only 1 out. With all hopes lost Joseph Gutierrez steps up to the plate and hit a liner to left clearing the bases with a stand up triple scoring Gabriel, Benjamin, and Josedavid. And if that wasn't enough David Ramirez steps up next and also hits a triple scoring Joseph. Down 10-6 now the Tigers got back into action with David Ramirez and Joseph Gutierrez held the bandits to only 1 more run as the nail-bitter came to an end with the final score 11-6.
